Youth Programs
Here are the programs we currently run.
Youth Education Services (YES) program
Youth Education Services program is designed to help young people take control of their own educational outcomes.
- Assist students and their parents with the public school course selection process
- Identify and support struggling students in the areas of need
- Monitor student progress
- Provide academic support for students in the basic core subjects of Reading/English and Math.
- Enable students to learn more about their own capabilities, resulting in increased study skills and various learning styles. Enable students to develop age-appropriate life skills.
- Expose students to the culture of post-secondary institutions and to various enrichment activities; University, College tours and corporate tours
- Educate parents about TDSB and PDSB educational process.
The objective of this program is to make sure Youth will graduate elementary and secondary school in good standing, learn and develop the proper character attributes to enter High School or Post Secondary.
Mentoring and Violence Prevention (MVP) Program
Mentoring and Violence Prevention Program is an early Intervention and Prevention service designed to increase social competence among youth while reducing factors that place youth at risk for involvement in drugs and alcohol abuse and juvenile delinquency. The program will arm youth with skills for healthy expression of anger and vulnerability; learning how to problem solve as a means to find alternative solutions to conflict; and identifying positive attributes.

- Individual and Family Counselling
- Educating parents and youth about law enforcement and the juvenile justice system
The objective of this program is to keep kids in school and out of the juvenile justice system.
